Preventive Dental Care with a Dental Hygienist
The Role of the Dental Hygienist: Preventive and Aesthetic Care
The dental hygienist is an expert in promoting oral health and preventing problems through thoughtful care. The dental hygienist works independently but in close collaboration with the dentist to give you the best possible treatment.
As part of preventive care, the dental hygienist performs tasks such as removing tartar and stains, administering fluoride treatments, and offering advice on oral hygiene.
Our oral hygiene services also include aesthetic treatments like teeth whitening, tooth jewelry application, and effective soda powder cleaning.
FPA Reimbursement for Dental Hygienist Services
Starting May 1, 2025, you can receive reimbursement for visits to a dental hygienist without a dentist’s referral up to 2 times per calendar year. FPA does not cover costs for cosmetic treatments.
Based on a dentist’s referral during an examination, you can receive reimbursement for treatment by a dental hygienist or for microbiological examinations performed by a dental hygienist for up to 15 treatment sessions under the same referral, provided the examination or treatment is given within 2 years from the date of referral.
You are warmly welcome to take care of your oral health together with us!
